Creating change one stride at a time

“A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that has.”

- Margaret Mead

That statement is at the core of our mission. We are a small group of like-minded people who belive we can change the world in our own small way.

What began with a lone fitness aficionado has grown and continues to evolve year by year. We are a group of friends who take on intense physical fitness challenges in order to raise money for two important charities.

We do this because it is the right thing to do and because we believe that it is everyone’s responsibility to leave this world a little better than they found it.

Since 2019 our challenges have raised nearly $20 000 in donations for AARCS and Ronald McDonald House. With your help, we can do even better!

For 2023 we’ve opted to undertake a slightly different, but just as grueling physical challenge.

For this year’s event we will be running laps around the Ed Eggerer track in Airdrie, Alberta. Our run will begin at sunrise and will end at sunset, our only breaks will be for fuel, hydration, and to answer nature’s call!

As an added dimension, we will be doing this run on June 21, the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.

As always, all proceeds raised will be split evenly between the two amazing local organizations that we are supporting: The Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society and the Calgary Ronald McDonald House.
